Shoes Thrown at Bush in Iraq: They Weren't Gucci.

While speaking at a press conference during his final tour of Iraq, President Bush has to use his reflexes to duck as an Iraqi journalist throw both of his shoes at the head of Pres. Bush! Bush describes the incident as a means to gain attention and seemed to have a good sense of humor about the whole thing. In the Arab world, it is an extreme form of insult and disrespect to throw ones shoe at another individual. This guy must really hate Bush if he threw both of his kicks at him... Some Americans would probably like to throw more than just shoes at Bush, but in either culture, that would be so trashy to do such a thing.
