Red Carpet Review: SAG Awards

The 15th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards aired last night . The SAG awards, this year, seemed to have a mix of Oscar caliber glamour, and Emmy Red Carpet style as well. naturally, there was a lot of white worn on the red carpet, after First Lady Obama opted for a white gown on Inauguration Night. The one-shoulder, also worn by First Lady Obama, was also popular for the night, along with Pastel colors and huge bows.

The Good:



Kate Winslet - My vote for Best Dressed! I love bold colors, and this Blue is radiant against her pale skin tone.




Terri Hatcher - Alot of volume, with the drama of her off the shoulder. You have to see the back of this dress. Not a huge fan of that skinny black belt, but everything else going on with this dress overshadows that one mishap.



Brad Pitt - Simple with a small color accent on the pocket square. This is how men should dress.


Eva Longoria - The jewel detail makes this dress, and the color is beautiful as well. She rarely messes up a red carpet, so I'll let the dress speak...



Taraji P. Henson - Gettin' her First Lady on with this white dress. The back of her dress was nice as well (not much back to it). I'm so proud of her! She has come a long way from Baby Boy (Jodie, my Jodie...)

The Bad:

Micky Rourke - No surprise here.. better than the Globes, but that doesn't mean anything.. What good is +5 when you were at - 50? At least he is having an awesome comeback season...

Nicolet Sheridan - To have such a great body, you put it in this? This dress doesn't belong on anyone except for on the beach.

Mindy - That makeup.... need I say more? She is 5 shades darker on her face than the rest of her body. And then the white eye shadow makes her look like an albino raccoon. I think she is pretty though on regular days, but not so much last night. She should fire her makeup artist (if she haves one.. please tell me she has one)

Lisa Rinna - Is she serious?? Nothing is left to the imagination in this dress... this is the worst ever! This when "keeping it sexy" goes wrong.. TOTALLY WRONG! Someone hurry and give her double sided tape!

The Not-So-Sure:

Angelina Jolie - She wore this exact same dress but in a different color at the Golden Globes. When you are as high profile as Jolie, you need to bring some different every time! Especially since this dress really isn't doing much for her anyway. Not ugly, but come on!

Christina Applegate - Better than the prom look from the Globes, but I don't like this version of the "off-the-shoulder" look. I think it would be a better dress if the green were darker and bolder. Like a nice emerald color against her skin tone.

America Fuerra - She looks beautiful, but the black against that tan looks a bit Emo to me
