QTips: Memorial Day Fashion Set Backs

Memorial Day Weekend is a time to reflect and remember those who have passed away... it seems that some people have decided to remember those styles and trends that have too passed away and have no signs of EVER coming back...

So, I decided to make a list of the sightings I had to endure this weekend.. These are in no particular order.. each is just as much QTip worthy as the other..

1. I say it time and time again.... if you are going to dress trendy, stick to ONE TREND! I saw this girl with one of those Forever 21 dresses (short sleeve/off the shoulder) with a long sleeve black tight shirt underneath, with black and cream bracelets... The dress had jewels all on the front, BUT she decided that she needs to have on a wide gold belt.. I guess to help with the gold shoes... Do you see how this is waaaay too much?

2. Fellas, what TV show/ music video/ Jay Z song told you that man capris were cool? Way too many guys had on these pants that stopped above the ankle. I thought for a second that maybe they were just saggin' their pants, but NO, these pants had draw strings on the bottom. NOT COOL!

3. I've said it before on my QTips, and I will say it again... You can't wear Coach shoes with everything...ESPECIALLY plaid shorts.

4. I really think I'm over the girls that wear those dresses that stop right at the butt, and then are kind of slinky at the top... You see it once, you've seen it all...

5. Fellas, go to a real shoe store and see what types of dress shoes are in style... The square toe is not.... and neither are the real pointed toe shoes that curl up... Are you in never never land, right next to Peter Pan?? (I'm not even a Lyfe Jennings fan, but his song really fits right here) This might help.. don't go to Aldo! While they may have a couple cool shoes, if you aren't stylish enough, you may mess up.

6. If you really feel the need to wear a chain belt, DO NOT PUT IT THROUGH THE BELT LOOPS!

All of this in a matter of 5 hours on Saturday....
