Michelle Obama Fashion: Green Dress Worn at Palmer House Hilton

On July 28, 2008, Michelle Obama, in her campaign tour for husband Barack Obama, spoke for a group back "home" in Chicago at the elegant Palmer House Hilton. Her tour is currently focused on recruiting women voters for the upcoming election.

Michelle is wearing a simple green dress for the event. What I like about this, is its simplicity... As a political figure, First Ladies are expected to carry a certain image. Think of Jackie Kennedy, the last stylish First Lady of the U.S. Simple construction and tailored lines are chic, sophisticated, and Fly. Just what ,modern America needs in the White House! Michelle has really nice shoulders too, so this dress adds attention to her upper body. Since she has curves, exposing her shoulders help add balance to the top as well as her bottom half. Good choice yet again for one of Vanity Fair's Best Dressed Women.
