Project Runway Episode 3: Recap

On last night's Project Runway episode, the designers were to create an outfit descriptive of a young hip fashionista. They had to use the inspiration of New York City to design their creations, so each designer took their digital cameras and found their muse from the Big Apple. Here are my faves, and my not-so-faves:

Hot:

Kelli - This dress is so creative! Her inspiration came from a fire hydrant. Ridiculous, and the model really worked the dress down the runway.

Terri - Now, I am not a fan of chicks wearing jeans and a dress together.. In other words, I think this would have better as a dress, and not a shirt. I feel like just stick with one of the other. But the top Terri created was so perfect, that I had to make this one of my favorites. Her inspiration came from a graffiti wall.

Leanne - Her inspiration was from the grills that surround the trees in the city. Very structured and modern. Heidi Klum said that she would wear that in a second! That's a big compliment Leanne!

Not So Much:

Blayne: Did your dress throw up? How were you not in the bottom three? I think your color spazz out was worse than Emily's. It looks like you gave up and throw some crack on your dress.

Emily: Like Michael Kors said... "When in doubt, keep it simple" The black dress was tailored very nicely, but that colored ruffle looks like something that... I... could have put together..

Keith - Your inspiration came from a beat up magazine...and your dress looks like something beat up.
