Project Runway Episode 5: Recap

On this week's episode of Project Runway, the designers had to create a day/night look for Brooke Shields's character for NBC's "Lipstick Jungle" I have never seen the show before, but I hear it's similar to another show that used to be popular.. you know, high powered women who live in New York City, and talk about fashion and sex all day... Yeah...

Anyways, the designers had to work in pairs this week, so here are my judgements..

Favorites:

Jerrell/Stella - This was surprisingly chic for this odd pair. I was expecting to see cut outs, studs and bonnets, but they really created a very classy design. What won them my top spot was the fact that Jerrell said "Swank" in his description of the outfit.. how could I not make them #1?

Keith/Kenley - They were the actual winners of the challenge. Their prize was that their design will be featured on one of the "Lipstick Jungle" episodes. This was one time that Keith's layering technique actually turned out looking good. Remember that old magazine design he made?

Least Favorites:

Blayne/ Leanne - I just don't know what goes through this guy's mind. Who would wear that to a board room? Who would wear that out at night? That's more of a Labor Day Cookout type outfit..

Kelli/Daniel- Cheap! Cheap! Oh, and how funny was it when Daniel said that all he knows are luxurious fabrics, and Kenley fell out laughing! That's because it was funny, and he isn't as hot as he thinks he is. He should have left, not Kelli.
