The King of Chic, Oscar De la Renta, showed his spring 2009 line. Jennifer Lopez was front and center at the show, which consisted of classic de la renta style - except for that first pic of Arlenis Sosa in a grey and navy one-piece. Alot of these pieces are First Lady worthy.. in fact, Oscar de la Renta is one of Cindy McCain's favorite designers... too bad she won't be able to wear this in the White House, but at least she can look fly in her corner office at the Anheuser Busch subsidiary that she owns. There are a lot of brooches as accessories for this line, and in fact there were a couple of my favorite looks that had the brooch right at the cleavage... just as Michelle Obama was wearing during the DNC. I kind of chastised First Lady Obama (Obama '08) for making that choice of placement, but I guess its in style.. I still don't like it, but that doesn't mean it's not a trend.
