Diddy Purchases Enyce

OK, I didn't even know that Enyce was still out, but WWD reports that Sean Diddy Combs purchased the Enyce brand from Liz Claiborne, Inc. for $20 million, which is almost a $100 million decrease from when Liz Claiborne purchased the brand back in 2003.

I don't know why he purchased the brand, because its not like the brand is hot right now, but perhaps he has some plan for it. I do recall the brand being sold at Macy's stores, so this could have possibly been a good move for Diddy to buy out his competition with Sean John. I bet he won't try that with Rocawear...

By the way, was it pronounced E-Nee-Che, or En-Y-Cee, or E-Nice, or what? I could tell you how to pronounce Lanvin, Hermes and Commes des Garcons with ease, but I could never get ENYCE correct! Leave me a comment or email me if you can help me pronounce the brand correctly.
