At last night's Presidential debate, Michelle Obama was wearing what I thought was a nice red knit dress.. until the very end of the debate when she stood up and greeted the crowd.
Michelle has this obsession with embroidery and detailing around her neck line and it needs to stop pronto! The green bows around the neck of a red dress puts me in the mind of a Christmas party with someone who wears a Santa hat and bakes Rudolph cookies with a red nose made of icing.
Take a look at the back of the dress however.. the detailing is superb. The piping detail adds structure to the dress and gives her body a nice shape. Its just those awful green metal bows that need to be thrown away. not only that, I am getting over seeing Michelle in these knit dresses with the V-Neck. I need to see her in a nice suit and pumps for once, just to break the monotony.
Since Cindy McCain is pictured with Michelle, I had to comment that her blue dress is chic, and Cindy really knows how to put her tax breaks to good use... I mean when you spend tons of money on clothes, they better look good!
Obama staff, please contact me if you need a stylist for Michelle! I love her and want to see her looking fly and stylish on TV!

The weird thing was the green stuff didn't look green at all on our TV. (Maybe we just need a new TV!) But I wondered about the back of the dress, where it seemed the zipper showed a little too much. http://snipurl.com/46fn6
ReplyDeleteStop hatin' First Lady To Be Michelle Obama can wear any style dress she wants. She has a body that would look good in practically anything. Her style of dress reminds me of Jackie Kennedy and she is making a definite fashion statement. She is not corporate america and does not need to wear a "suit" ever. GO Michelle! Put your thing down!!!!!!!
