Thakoon's line for Target won't be available for those early Christmas shoppers, but it comes just in time for those shoppers who decide to wait until Christmas Day to buy gifts. Target will debut the designer of Michelle Obama's Democratic National Convention dress on Christmas Day. The line will be very similar to what we saw in Michelle - prints and simple silhouettes. So all of you out there will have yet another store to shop and dress like Michelle Obama! Now, if you could only ACT like her, you are gonna be dangerous! If you do decide to buy Michelle-esque dresses, please do me a favor and wear it without the brooches along the neck.
The silhouette changes drastically for me when she is standing next to her husband, versus sitting down (in the bottom photo). When she's standing, it just looks like a housedress. Would not buy. No need to dress like I Love Lucy to connect to middle America.
