Beyonce at It Again...

No surprise here... but since she just put out a new album (which I'm still trying to understand it all... even though I am proudly playing Kanye's new album daily) I figure I would give her a bit of air time on the Ave. We all know she isn't the most original girl in the bunch, but she always kills whatever she does, so you actually forget the originator of whatever she does. Anyways, while looking through her CD cover, I noticed this photo of her with a motorcycle bustier...

Then I got a flashback from the nineties.. I remembered that same outfit from a music video back in the day that had supermodels on the runway. After more research I remembered that it came from a George Michael video (it comes on at about 1:15).



So yeah, she stole the idea, but she did it the correct way. After more research I found out that the bustier was originally made by cotoure designer Thierry Mugler, and the bustier worn by Beyonce is the original design by Mugler. NY Mag even says that Mugle is considering coming out of retirement to create designs again. I guess being copied by Beyonce is true flattery.
