It is 5:23 Am and I am preparing myself for one of the most epic days of my life! Me and the ten others staying at my sister's house are getting dressed to drive to the metro station to begin our quest to the Capitol.. I guess its my own Inaugural Parade so to speak. In honor of myself graduating from two Presidential Universities, the University of Virginia (Thomas Jefferson) and The George Washington University (George Washington, if it wasn't obvious), I have opted to wear an Orange and Blue tie to the festivities. Yes it is like 20 degrees outside, and I will likely have on a coat, scarf and hat the entire time, but you never know when that perfect photo opportunity will come.
Things I need to bring:
Press Pass (check)
Thermal Underwear (check)
Hand Warmers (uh..... NOT CHECK... still couldn't find any and I will NOT pay $10 for one pack from the street hustlers.. )
Camera with 75-300mm lens (check)
Tickets for my section (check AND doublecheck)
Off to the Capitol!
