Michelle Obama, our very own Queen, along with President Obama, met with Queen Elizabeth today at Buckingham Palace during Obama's European tour.
First Lady Obama wore a black Isabel Toledo dress with an Azzedine Alaia cardigan and a black coat by Jason Wu. None of this should be a surprise, except for the Alaia cardigan which is fairly new to the Obama repertoire. She only showed her forearms, which I'm sure makes the portion of society happy that are simply jealous of her toned body.
I think her ensemble was a good choice for her meeting with the Queen, as it showed a very timeless and classic look, which I think the Queen exemplifies.
As always, I am not a fan of her shoes.. The heels need to be a bit higher for her height. They look rather matronly and old fashion. President Obama isn't off the hook this time either. He needs another shoe option. I can see him with a nice wing tip oxford with a slightly pointier toe. He is tall and slim, and the round toe shoe doesn't do anything for him.
