Throwing Up Yet?The Men of 300 could do it. Russell Crowe was allowed for his movie. King David may have worn a pair back in B.C., but NO MAN in this age should be wearing Gladiator Sandals! I don't even like these for women too much (even though designers keep making them each season, I an still optimistic that these are going out of style quickly), so clearly any male with these on will be moved from Swank to Stank!
Givenchy has made a line of Men's Gladiator Kicks, but I hope no one reading this has the nerve to buy them. This is one pair of high fashion designer shoes that I do not condone! Not even Lanvin would make me put this on the Swank List! OMG I am throwing up just thinking about these. I saw a guy wearing some tight red jeans and some gladiator sandals at the Essence Music Festival and I wanted to pick up the speaker and throw it on his foot! Men, get you some flip flops and call it a day. Please wear a real shoe and keep it moving!
Why not? - I tink they´re really o.k.! Why should only women wear extravagant shoes?

ReplyDeleteAs usual the weak minded are swayed by a sniggering idiots comments, made just like most giggling buffoons, from a safe distance. Sandals are sandals. A few years ago and 3/4 length trousers for men were the giggling point, now there being so many men wearing them, that really the jokes are just hollow and immediately show the speaker up as a perpetual singleton, too crass and thick for anyone to take any notice of. As usual these numpties pick on the most ridiculous example they can find (however the above are not that bad actually, just that the style isnt embedded enough to make the leap above without drawing some comment) and try to pass it off as indicative of the whole style. Ignore these bozos, the ones who point and laugh (from a distance) because as usual they are Mr or Mrs Boringly Bland, who hasnt the backbone to pull off anything other than off the rack at BHS, and absolutely hate the transferance of attention that anyone with half an ounce of style will undoubtedly get.
