BET, in celebrating its 30th year as a network, will air its 3rd Annual BET Honors on February 1, 2010. BET Honors, a celebration of the positive contributions of African Americans, will acknowledge the following honorees:
Queen Latifah (Media)
Sean "P Diddy" Combs (Entrepreneur) 
Dr. Keith Black (Public Service)
Whitney Houston (Entertainment)
Ruth Simmons (Education)The BET Honors will be hosted by Gabrielle Union and featured performances by Mary J Blige, Jennifer Hudson, Pattie Labelle and India Aire, among others paying tribute to these remarkable kings/queens of their craft.
