Runway Review: Binetti F/W 2010

One of my top shows of the NYFW Fall/Winter 2010 Collections has to be the Binetti F/W 2010 Collection. Diego Binetti, influenced by travels to the Far East, created a collection that was saturated with intricate details, executed perfectly to create looks that were inspiring and sexy at the same time. Photo's don't do the collection justice; to really appreciate the level of detail, you had to experience the collection in person. Binetti used crystal and beading details along the stitching of garments, and also included mirror detailing, which was definitely hot for the Fall/Winter 2010 Collections.

What I enjoyed the most were the Swarovski silver crystal ball buttons that were on the bottom of the pants; it was such a subtle detail that added a flirty element to the collection. The styling of each look was superb as well; each look, though sophisticated in its Far East inspiration, was matched with the perfect shoes and accessories that made Binetti's art wearable.
