HONOR Spring 2012 Collection

The Spring Summer 2012 Collection by HONOR was a pleasant mix of mod, sixties sexy with the modesty and youthfulness of the pioneer era.  Fans subtly blowing the skirts as models entered the runway added just the amount of sex appeal to understand these looks aren’t as innocent as they may first appear.

Designer Gionvanna Randall worked with illusions that were clever and subtle; the cutout detailing that exposed the bare collarbone at first glance appeared to be a fabric collar, but it was another successful effort in exposing the sensual parts of the woman’s body without being too literal. Randall used light colors, like white, yellow and nude with lace and georgette fabrics; keeping a fresh whimsical aesthetic that pays homage to Twiggy, and could even resurrect Marilyn Monroe onto the catwalk.
