Fred Perry Launches Final Amy Winehouse Collection

The family of the late Amy Winehouse has agreed to allow iconic brand Fred Perry to launch the final Amy Winehouse Fall/Winter Collection.  The collection is available on fredperry.com and proceeds will go towards the Amy Winehouse Foundation.  The looks are just as timeless as her voice, and the history of Fred Perry is an awesome match to Amy's legacy and admiration of the age before her own.

Adele Honors Amy Winehouse on Blog

There is no question that Amy Winehouse brought in the new generation of the British Invasion; much like the Beatles, Amy Winehouse spearheaded a multitude of new artists that "crossed the pond" to American pop culture, topping charts and winning Grammy's.  Adele is another songstress who's brilliant talent has helped her gain notariety worldwide.  In a message on Adele's blog As seen here she writes a tribute to Amy Winehouse, called "Amy Flies in Paradise," a parallel to Amy's song "October Song" which is about her pet bird who died.

In her post, Adele says "Amy paved the way for artists like me and made people excited about british music again whilst being fearlessly hilarious and blase about the whole thing. i don’t think she ever realised just how brilliant she was and how important she is, but that just makes her even more charming. although im incredibly sad about Amy passing im also reminded of how immensely proud of her i am as well. and grateful to be inspired by her. Amy flies in paradise xx"

R.I.P. Amy Winehouse

I have to take this time to express my sadness for the loss of one of my favorite voices ever.  Amy Winehouse has to be one of the most talented writers/muscians/vocalists, and will truly be missed.  I could go on and on about how much I love her songs, and I can sing every single one - but will now just leave this post with one of my favorite Amy Winehouse songs.  An unreleased tracked called "What it Is" which showcases her amazing voice.
