Lil Wayne's Pants at MTV VMA's: Get the Better Look

We can all agree that Lil Wayne's performance at the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards was a bit strange.  First, there was the fact that he was lip syncing an auto-tuned track.. why would you need to both auto tune a song AND still lip sync to it?  Second, he pulled out the air guitar (anyone else realize it wasn't hooked up?) and strummed three notes and destroyed it.  Then, it was the pants... the pants that had everyone talking!  Pajamas, jeggings, panty hose; whatever they were, they were tight, leopard, of totally off trend.

Printed pants are on trend for this season, and for those that can afford high fashion selections, I would recommend the following non-animal printed options:

Kim Kardashian Wears Kaufman Franco Dress for 2011 Video Music Awards

A post-wedding glow Kim Kardashian attended the MTV Video Music Awards without her husband Kris Humphries, wearing a glittered gown by Kaufman Franco.  The dress was sensual and fitting, true to the aesthetic of designers Ken Kaufman and Issac Franco, but Kim K did not do the best job in accessorizing.  She gets kudos for keeping the neck bare, but with a dress that looks like one giant piece of silver jewelry, she could have done without the silver bracelet, and went with black bracelets or just used her new wedding ring as the main accessory.

Drake's Sweater for VMA's: Get the Look

Drake's sweater got alot of publicity last night during the MTV Video Music Awards.  Most of it being a huge "dislike" button if there was one for facebook or twitter; however, when the Missoni for Target line gets here, I am sure this cardigan will be sold out in minutes!  Very similar to the cardigan worn by Drake, except in a brown colorway.  If this was the last piece of the iconic collection at Target, trust it will be picked up and worn by many of those who tweeted in disgust at Drake last night.

Lady Gaga Revisits Manhood for MTV VMA's

Lady Gaga stayed in character all night, posing as a man that was accepting on Lady Gaga's behalf.  After an amazing opening performance, winning awards, and introducing Britney Spears, Gaga never broke character.  This is not the first time we have seen this particular character, as it is the same look as her photo spread for Vogue Homme Japan back in 2010.  Jo Calderone is his name.. maybe she will do a dual CD next time and let Jo have his own share of 9 songs.
