Q-Tips: Last Minute Gift Ideas

Anyone like me this season? Totally occupied with life's excitement that the holiday season crept up and took over without any warning? Find yourself going to buy gifts for others, but go into a store with a killer sale and only walk out with gifts for YOURSELF (hope thats not just me..)

Here are some great last-minute gifts that anyone would love to have. I want you to keep your mind open and creative somewhat, so I won't give specifics:

1. Gift Cards - this is the last option, but it is the best option. When you aren't sure of someone's size, but you know that that special someone has a favorite store, then why not feed their addiction by giving them a gift card to that place? If you aren't sure as to which sotres they enjoy, you can purchase an American Express gift card, but WARNING - you have to pay an extra fee with the AMEX cards. You normally can;t go wrong with cards to Target, Best Buy, or better yet, a GAS CARD!

2. iPod - If you aren't really looking for a budget gift, go buy an i-something for your loved one. For those not too deep into technology, go for a Nano.. for those tech buffs, get them the 32 gig iPod touch 2nd generation.

3. Fragrances - Everyone loves a good fragrance. If your loved one has a signature scent, stock them up with an extra one.... if not, sample a few and pick the one you like best. If their favorites are Drakkar or Joop, or even White Diamonds by Elizabeth Taylor, please help them find a more modern scent this season... only Chanel No 5 will stand the test of time

4. Services - get your minds out of the gutter! Help your loved one save time by giving them a gift certificate for a maid service, or even a car detailer! My sister gave me money for a maid for my Bday and that has to be one of the best gifts ever (now all I need to do is make the appointment). Complimentary chef service or paying for a specific class (cooking, yoga, etc.) is also a great gift idea.

5. Anything engraved - Everyone is touched when you buy them something with their name engraved.
