While awaiting the arrival of the "Baby of the Hour" on Saturday, my boy Orren came in and said the best phrase I heard that whole day... "Yo, did you see that skateboard store next door?" You can imagine how my face lit up, how I began to pace around, and how hype I got when I heard him say this. I was ready to walk to the store right then, but I calmed down and we went after eating. When I got to the door, I figured that the store was going to be a skateboard store that sold.... skateboards (duh) and maybe some Vans or something. WRONG!! As soon as I walk in, my senses go straight to the new Ferris Bueller and Arcade Dunk SB's that came out recently (too bad my size was sold out). The sad thing is, the store has been there for almost four years and I had no idea! I'm thinking that the only place worthy of my time for dunks was Commonwealth, but now I have two stores to shop (and/or window shop because some of his kicks were $600). This place is bananas!! I told the owner that he has a new fan, and that I would be back to check out what new shipments he gets in. You will know as well, since I will be posting new releases on the Ave.
