The August issue of Essence Magazine, with Usher and his son on the cover, featured their Do Right Men of 2008. The list of 50 eligible bachelors were categorized by Doctors, Ballers, Businessmen, as well as Lawyers, Celebs and Community activists. Some of these "Do Right" men "Did Wrong" with their fashion, but hey, maybe Essence was going with the notion that clothes don't make the man...
Anyways, I was shocked and hype to see that one of my peoples, and fellow UVA alum, D'Brickashaw Ferguson was among the list. AND, he was one of the few who showed that his profession, along with STYLE, is what makes him a Do Right Man. So props to you homie, I know you stop by the Ave, so tell the other Essence cats to stop by and meditate on my Q-Tips!
I'm especially hype that he understands the importance of wearing a simple, crisp white V-neck.
