Jesse Apologizes for Comments Made on Obama

You want to cut his what off?????
CNN reports that Sunday on a Fox news conference, Jesse Jackson made some inappropriate comments to the correspondent while he thought his microphone was off. Jackson told the UnitedHealth Group executive Dr. Reed V. Tuckson, "See, Barack's been talking down to black people ... I want to cut his nuts off."

In an attempt to apologize for the remarks before his Fox news interview premiered on TV, Jesse made these comments:

"I was in a conversation with a fellow guest on Sunday. He asked about Barack's speeches lately at the black churches. I said he comes down as speaking down to black people," (that isn't all you said..)

I posted an article for Father's day in which Obama went to a church and called for Black men to be more responsible in their fatherhood roles. The was one of the church speeches that Jackson was referring to. Jackson's issue is that he feels Obama's message to Black voters is centered around a "moral challenge," and that his message should be much broader.

Now this is where it gets interesting... Jesse's own son, Jesse Jackson Jr. publicly rejected and denounced his fathers comments saying:

"I'm deeply outraged and disappointed in Rev. Jackson's reckless statements about Sen. Barack Obama," the younger Jackson said. "His divisive and demeaning comments about the presumptive Democratic nominee -- and I believe the next president of the United States -- contradict his inspiring and courageous career."

If that's not enough, Al Sharpton (my boy), expressed his slight disappointment in Jackson's "Hateration"

From CNN, here are the quotes from Al Sharpton:

"I hope people will remember the great work he's done in this country as one assesses this last incident," Sharpton said in a statement.

Sharpton said people "must be careful not to segregate Sen. Obama and impose some litmus test that is unfair and unproductive."

"We must be very clear that Sen. Obama ... is running for president for all Americans, not just African-Americans -- which is why most Americans have embraced his campaign," Sharpton said.

The facts are above, and I encourage you to go to CNN to get the full story.

now here's my take........

OK, Jesse Jackson, is this a joke? You go on CNN acting as if you were so innocent in what you were saying, but dude, you said you wanted to cutt his nuts off... Who says that?? You apologize for your remarks only because you say they were private... So we know how you really feel about Obama.. You've been exposed. What's really sad about this is, though Jackson got caught saying this, he isn't the only one that believes it... The guy he was speaking to looks like he wanted to either laugh or agree with Jesse. This will be a battle that Obama will continue to fight throughout this campaign, and even his presidency (Obama '08). White people think he is too black (except for Nadar who thinks Obama talks white), and Blacks think that Obama needs to eat more soul food and get back to his roots. By the way Jesse, are you at least taking Obama's advice and being a responsible father to the "love child" you had??
Oh, let me add fashion.... Your shirt looks like its silk, and it makes me mad.
