Hillary Clinton Fashion: Democratic Convention Speech

"No Way, No How, No McCain"

At last night's session of the Democratic National Convention, it was Hillary Clinton's night to address those Dems who are still obsessed with her nomination for President. A moot point since Obama is clearly the nominee and the next President of the USA (Obama '08), but it was good that she was able to address her supporters and get them on board to supporting the onward process of changing the current political system. She may not have really meant that she fully supports Obama, but either way she had to say it so that the party could move on. Here are the clips from last night, in case you missed it, or if you want to review it again. You know your co-workers are talking about it, so educate yourself! (Catch a glimpse of Michelle Obama's hair pulled back in a bun, and you'll love it!)

The Fashion: She truly did represent her "sisterhood of the traveling pant suits" with that Orange pant suit with matching top. The shape of the suit was very tailored, thought I thought the lapel could have been slimmer and longer. I really liked the detail on the sleeves of her jacket. I don't think another color could have gone under that suit (nothing really compliments orange), but I am not a fan of matching pants, jacket, and shirt...

Again, she does look polished, and she carries herself with grace, but she has had years of training in the political limelight to get it right... I actually like the linen (or tweed) suit that Hillary wore earlier in the day during the convention. The fit was much better, but the color was probably not as bold as she wanted for her big speech. Especially since Michelle came out in turquoise for her amazing speech. You can see Hillary's other outfit in my other post about Day 2 of the DNC.
