Project Runway Episode 4: Recap

Apollo Ohno, Olympic medalist and Dancing With the Stars Champion was the guest judge for this week's Project Runway. The designer's were tasked to design an uniform for the US Olympic Team for the Summer Games.

I wasn't really impressed or disgusted by any of the designs, so I couldn't give my top 3 and bottom 3, but Here is my favorite and least favorite from last night. I think I wasn't impressed because I am so blown away by Ralph Lauren's designs for the 08-08-08 Beijing Olympic USA Team.

My Favorite

Terri - This outfit could be tailored for every body type of an olympic team. The scarf gives an extra flare, but it doesn't overpower the overall look.

Least Favorite:

Keith - Who on the olympic team could wear this? Gymnasts are too short, and track and fielders have legs that are too muscular for this... Do they have a stripper contest at the olympics that noone else but you are aware of?

Jennifer was eliminated from the show, and I feel that it was solely on the fact that she didn't think about the challenge. You are in the USA... you have to design an olympic outfit.. where are the American Colors??? If you changed the gold stripes to.. oh I dont know.. RED stripes, and had a navy blue cardigan, you could have very well won the challenge! Its OK to be practical every now and then...
