Republican National Convention Fashion: Day 3

The third day of "Let's bash Obama and not talk about anything else" continued today at the Republican National Convention. I couldn't stomach most of the speeches, especially Rudy Giuliani's moment in which the only word that came out of his mouth was "Obama." Not to mention the long awaited speech from Sara Palin, in which I could have done without. She seems to have a very personable attitude, but I was not moved by anything she said. Again, except for Rosario Dawson and Cindy McCain, there wasn't much style in the building. With that said, lets get right to the fashion.

Sara Palin, though running for Vice President, is nowhere near as stylish as Cindy, Michelle or Barack! She had on an outfit fit for an old First Lady, or Condolezza Rice. I never understood why women feel they need to lose their feminine style while in positions of power... I mean I do understand (old white men are judged to be resistant to change) , but if Palin is the maverick that she claims to be, she should have thrown on a dress for her speech. She does at least wear heels (still mad at you Michelle!)

While we're at it, what is up with the Orange this year? McCain and the orange tie? Is he running for the President of the United States? Where is your red?

Cindy McCain, again with the "Hillary Orange", is wearing another trench dress, as she prepares for the convention meeting. One of the same style is enough for a week, especially when its televised. You can't overdo a trend!

Cindy comes back later in the night to wear a green wool dress with a three-quarter length sleeve... Reminds me of the turquoise dress worn by Michelle Obama on the night of her speech. The green looks good on Cindy, but I am convinced that she is jocking Michelle Obama's style.. Cindy knows that she doesn't stand a chance against Michelle...
