John McCain, Sarah Palin and their spouses were in Virginia Beach, VA today at the Virginia Beach Convention Center. This is the first joint rally for the Republicans, and the first time for Sarah Palin in Virginia (go figure). I definitely know it was her first time in the Hampton Roads area, how do I know this? I'm watching the rally on TV right now as I type, and hear is how I know...
-The city is NORFOLK, but she said "NORFORK"... repeatedly...
-The Air Force base is Oceana, but she said "Ociana (O-SEE-ANA)"
-"Norfork Airforce Base" Ummm the Naval Base is in Norfolk, and the Airforce Base is in Virginia Beach
-Most importantly, she is in Virginia Beach, but she was reppin' Norfork...
Secondly, Palin puts her jazz flute down and decides to take a jab at Obama. She says that the Obama campaign is playing the blame game and looking into the past, but umm isn't the McCain campaign "looking into the past" by talking about Bill Ayers?
For some reason, Cindy McCain who was once quiet in the background is now taking the podium, and I think she needs to keep her mouth closed and continue to smile in the background. She only talks about her sons in the military, but she says it in a tone as if she thinks that makes McCain more qualified to be President... As opposed to whom Cindy? Obama? When did we allow 9 year old girls to be in the military? Leave it up to your husband and they probably will...
Everywhere McCain goes, he has some story to tell the audience that explains how the particular city/state is like his second home... McCain you already have 7 homes (give or take since he couldn't count).. so we ain't buyin' your story anymore...
Listening to McCain gives me a headache, so I'm turning to something else...
