2008 AMA's - Performances

The style post was getting too large, so I thought I would break up the post and give you my top performances of the night. I do have to say that the audio was all jacked up Sunday night and I could hardly hear any of the performances as clear as I would have liked to.. I seriously couldn't hear anything that Coldplay was saying and that was one of the performances I wanted to hear!

Neyo - This guy never disappoints me. I saw him live last year and his production was minimal, but this year he has stepped his game up. I think I mostly enjoyed the fact that the girl behind him decided that she would remove her legs for the performance and just hold them in her hands.

Pink and Sarach McLaughlin - Wow... hearing this song really made me want to go adopt a pet (I know you have all seen the commercial with this song in it)

Rihanna - I love the eye patch.. But more importantly, I think she sounded really good last night. Lots of adlibs, and thats one of my favorite songs ever! You can tell Justin Timberlake wrote it and Timbaland produced it.

Beyonce - I wasn't too impressed with the performance, but what I loved was this pose she did at the end.. Like, who but "Sasha Fierce" would think that the best way to end a performance is to hold up her ponytail and gaze off into the audience?

The worst performance BY FAR was Nick Cannon and his corny attempt to be on stage and prove that he and Mariah really are married.. What a JOKE!
