Days after the Inauguration of President Barack H. Obama, his favorite tailor, and designer of his Swearing-in Suit, Hart Schaffer Marx, has filed for bankruptcy. Unlike one of First lady Obama's favorite clothiers, J Crew, who reported a 10% increase in earnings on Thursday - after reports of their designs of Obama's bow tie, Michelle's gloves and the Sasha and Malia's coats hit the media- Pres. Obama's group did not have as much luck. Hartmarx may have to redevelop their business plan as personal tailor for the President, which isn't a bad idea. It may not generate as much revenue, but at least the name will stay alive.
