We know that Hillary Clinton will be wearing Oscar de la Renta for the Inauguration Events, but the newest First Lady has yet to disclose the information for her Tuesday Night fun!
On Sunday, Michelle Obama opted to wear one of her favorite designers Narcisso Rodriguez, and I think she will likely stick with him, unless she goes with her hometown favorite Maria Pinto. First Lady Obama may use her diplomatic and democratic expertise and choose Pinto since she has already worn Narcisso on Election night and on Sunday night. I actually wanted her to go with Oscar dela Renta (to me, he is the King of formal wear for women of distinguished taste), but I think it will be very interesting to see Maria Pinto create a formal gown. I have only seen knit dresses from her, so to see something a formal fabric will be a different aesthetic for the Chicago designer.
One thing we have found out is that Michelle Obama will NOT be wearing panty hose on Inauguration night. In a recent interview, First Lady Obama said that panty hose were "too painful" and I'm sure that's the least thing she wants during the most historic night of her life.
