Believe it or not, the only reason I go out at night is to see what people are wearing. I thoroughly enjoy walking into a party and first: assessing the host's outfit, and then judging what kind of party it will be based on how people are dressed. My assessments are normally correct. In any event, I am sitting in the back of the lounge, and in my natural fashion, I look around to see what kind people are wearing, and most importantly, what kind of shoes they have one. To my surprise and disdain, I saw alot of females wearing knee boots, but with the Following Issues, that I will turn into rules:
1. Knee boots should NOT be worn on bare legs. If you are going to wear high boots, please do it with skinny jeans or tights.
2. Knee boots are not for all body types. If your legs aren't toned, you should not wear high boots. These tend to have a tighter fit and it makes your leg look like an ice cream cone. For those of you with larger legs, stick with ankle boots - it will give your leg a smaller illusion. Or, go with a cowboy boot - cowboy boots have more structure and don't fit snug at the top, so it will help you with your ice cream leg.
3. Only Mary J Blige can wear boots to her thighs - Seriously.. she has been doing it for years and she is the only one allowed to do such a thing. It looks tacky on anyone else.
