My model IT Girl for the Fall 2010 Season is Georgie Badiel. Badiel, from Burkina Faso, was the 2005 Miss Africa, and since then has taken her beauty from the stage to the runway. Badiel has walked in countless shows over the past 2 years, including Marc Jacobs, Louis Vuitton and DVF. I first noticed her in the Chado Ralph Rucci Spring 2010 Show and was captivated by her walk (which is obvious because Ralph Rucci only casts models that know how to walk). Georgie definitely has a signature walk; her long legs give her a long stride and she throws in that extra bounce to stomp the catwalk - much different than the normal robotic walks that are flooding the runways now.

It seemed as if Georgie was in every major show this season, and I have only posted photos from a percentage of the shows she walked in this season for New York Fashion Week. I think Badiel has the potential to have longevity in the modeling industry, and who knows, maybe the next Beyonce song will have all the ladies doing the "Georgie Badiel Stomp!"
