Runway Review: ADAM Fall/Winter 2010 Collection

When I attend shows for the Fall/Winter Season, my expectation is to get a glimpse on creative methods of incorporating heavier fabrics into chic, fun looks that can be work for day or evening. ADAM accomplished this with ease. Inspired by the work "Against the Wall" by artist Isca Greenfield-Sanders, Adam Lippes created a collection full of unique, looks using lighter winter fabrics, such as merino wool, to maintain the theme of his inspiration of texture, lightness and line. The collection featured top F/W 2010 Trends such as pleating and cableknit, which are trends that are ideally timeless , leaving women with looks like that can't the test of time for any Fall/Winter season.

My Favorite look was the Ivory kaleidoscope jacquard sweater with a brushed cotton tiered skirt and leather piping. The play on layers and textures and the pop of color from the belt truly exemplified that winter looks keep you warm, but can also be interesting.
