Beyonce New Video: "Why Don't You Love Me"

I'm sure many of you have already seen Beyonce's newest video for her "dance" single "Why Don't You Love Me." I quoted dance, because I see it more of a visit back to the old Motown sound of R&B as opposed to dance..

When I first pressed play, I immediately noticed the parallel theme of many of the Lady Gaga videos, but should we be surprised? Beyonce is always "influenced" by other artists, so this is nothing new. I wish it weren't so obvious, but it is what it is.

I hadn't heard the song before seeing the video, but I must say that the song is definitely going to be a hit! The writing gets kudos too (props to Solange) because the content is edgy and has a story behind it, as opposed to many of Beyonce's other songs. The background vocals are SICK!! One can't take away Beyonce's voice.. she's got the chops to do whatever kind of song she wants to!

Though I am tired of Beyonce's pinup doll look and that widow's peak wig, She is giving us a fresh look of the prints for the Spring/Summer season. Floral print is definitely in this season, and Beyonce is wearing them correctly, though sparingly.
