If you imagined Southern Belles living a city lifestyle, you have to envision them in Chris Benz. With a line wrapped around the entire block of 63rd and Broadway waiting to view the collection, Chris Benz left a lasting impact on New York Fashion Week. His Fall 2011 Collection was presented with superb styling, attention to detail, and a laid-back sense of complexity. Inspired by the charm and artsy spirit surround Savannah Georgia, Benz used tweed and other rich fabrics to portray the architecture and aesthetic of the southern city. Each look was styled with a special treat; whether it was the bold oversized hats, or the uber artistic Alejandro Ingelmo shoes, one could expect something fun and unexpected. Its always an interesting presentation when it takes more than one rotation to ingest each detail of the collection... Chris Benz gave us that honor!
