Talbots is an American Brand, and it is an affordable, "everyday people" brand, but I don't like the quality of fabric and design of the Talbots Brand.. just ask my sister, I really despise walking in that store.. It is OK for Michelle's mother to wear Talbots, but not Michelle... too old of a brand and it really does not scream fashion!
Just so you know, you can get the dress on talbots.com on sale for $125. I won't label you "swank" if you buy it, but do whatever makes you happy...
