Only to be worn by the daring - moccasin sneakers are becoming a unique trend for this season. Seen first by Gucci in their Spring 2009 runway show, other labels are following in their footsteps and creating some pretty neat details that resemble the frayed look of traditional moccasins.
The shoes featured here are by Bernard Willhelm and are currently available in the UK. The frayed detailing on these sneakers are pretty cool and very creative.
Visvim will also be launching a neat version of a sneaker Moc with their FBT Latice Collection. Love the adventure of the red suede sneaker, although the shoe resembles a chukka more so than a moccasin or sneaker...
So, in conclusion, if you are into shoes that make a statement, and have the money to spend on a trend that will not last through this Summer, then here is a good choice. I'll be sticking with the simple suede moccasin loafer by Bally...
